Well, whaddya know? The prevalence of crap paintings never ceases to
amaze me. I'm glad I decided to try out a Philosophy module
this
year, otherwise I would never have discovered this little beauty,
hidden as it was in a nondescript 3rd floor seminar room.
Being
more secluded than previous 'jobs', especially at 6 o'clock, I was at
liberty to get photographic evidence of my methods - note the clever
way of getting my replacement poster insert the same size as the old
one.
Click on the photo for a larger version. The text below the
paintings reads:
A
single Roman, Horatius, held at bay the Etruscan army of Lars Porsena,
6th century BC
and
A single Luton fan held at bay the attacking Millwall fans, March 1985
My addition reads:
A
single student held at bay the onslaught of Mediocre Art, October 2006
